Welcome to the Flying Bridge!

The Flying Bridge was first opened in the 50’s when Pacific Coast Highway (101) was the only coastal route between the star studded streets of Hollywood and the excitement of Del Mar Race Track as well as the allure of Mexico.  Many of the Hollywood Elite are said to have dined n the dining room and “lounged” in the lounge.   Locals tell of their first date, prom night, family celebrations or a night out dancing at the Flying Bridge in the days gone by.   In recent years, the Chamber of Commerce and the newly formed Main Street Coalition of businesses have been working hard to revitalize the downtown area.  We are proud to be part of Oceanside’s history and it’s Future.   We have been honored with the 2001 Small Business of the Year Leadership Award from Channel 10 for our work with the community and we will use it as a benchmark to work with the community to help however we can.   We welcome the opportunity to work with non profit groups, community and school sports and academic groups to fundraise and have several programs available.   Community groups are encouraged to utilize the facility for meetings.  At present, the Oceanside Jaycees, Longboarder Surf Club, Sunset Poets, Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committees all hold their meetings at The Flying Bridge.  

The Café menu is served daily in the café and in the dining up to 4:00.    On Saturday and Sunday mornings we serve breakfast in the café and a menu service champagne brunch in the dining room.    Whether it is a casual dinner, a family celebration, a night out with friends dancing and meeting new friends or a business meeting, the owners and staff of the Flying Bridge are here to meet your needs.  The four venues of the Bridge - The Café open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, breakfast on the weekend with casual dining, the Pacific View Dining Room open for lunch Monday to Friday, Saturday & Sunday Brunch (10 am to 2 pm) and Dinner seven days a week, The Pacific View Lounge with entertainment Wednesday to Saturday, the Five Palms Banquet Facility and covered terrace, collectively have the resources for all your entertaining needs.
